Biography
Ravenwood
Co-leader | eccentric | witty | sly mate: Millicent | PAIR RANGE Tales of the Grey Phantom once ran rampant through the Scarred Wasteland. He appeared without a sound. He'd rob you of everything you owned. He killed without remorse. A grey blur is the last thing you'd see. For many years, Ravenwood owned this monicker. He ran with a pack of bandits led by fellow mirrors: Sourtooth and Forsythe. Ravenwood acted as one of their top members, pillaging the Scarred Wasteland for its few resources and striking terror in the dragons who wandered there. Ravenwood reasoned he only did what he must to survive. For only the strong could call the Plaguebringer's domain home and weaklings had no business there. Then, he met Millicent. He had marked her as a target when she was working a plot of barren land, but as he watched, his curiosity was piqued. Rather than strike, he inquired after her efforts. In response, Millicent spoke of a dream: a clan where dragon from all flights could flourish, where any could thrive, and none would want for anything. A Sanctuary, she called it, and it would stand as the ultimate test of strength amidst the Scarred Wasteland. Proof that dragons could do more than survive the Scarred Wasteland. They could thrive. Ravenwood thought of her answer, and when Millicent invited him to work alongside her, he accepted. When others asked, he claimed that his aiding her stemmed from mere curiosity, but the truth was her words affected him. Her dream made him consider how he survived, and he realized that he had only done that: survive. He had never truly lived, loved, and flourished, and with Millicent, he saw a brighter future. He continued to spend his days with her, but shadows of his past lingered behind him. For Sourtooth and Fosyth discovered his growing fondness for Millicent and warned him. They would allow him his passing fancy, but should they question his loyalties to the pack, they would seek retribution. However, Ravenwood's happiness with Millicent trumped his fear of Sourtooth and Forsyth, and when they had finished their work on the land, Ravenwood asked Millicent to be his mate. Millicent accepted and Ravenwood was overjoyed, but it was short-lived as Sourtooth and Forsyth emerged from the shadows. True to their word, they sought retribution and attacked Millicent, intending to kill her and ruin the land her and Ravenwood had built up. Ravenwood leapt in front of Millicent though and took the attack in her place. He might have fallen that day had Millicent not come to his aid and fended off Sourtooth and Forsyth. Both were left bloodied and bruised, but together they rose, and Millicent claimed the Sanctuary as her own. Today, Ravenwood stays by Millicent's side, both as her right hand and her mate. They welcome dragons from all over Sorneith, and Ravenwood is always there to greet them with an amusing anecdote or story. Thanks to him, every dragon enters the Sanctuary with a smile and hope for a brighter future, just as he had.
