A hardened dungeon explorer. Korin is fascinated by the deep, ominous caverns, abandoned fortresses, haunted forests, and other places rumoured to house treasure that can be found in Sornieth, and has spent most of his life perfect the art of exploring inside of them. Dark, dreary places that would scare most away are his playground, and no monster is gonna stand in his way. Using his innate light magic, he lights up the path before him, or allows it to be snuffed out if the darkness is beneficial.
Of course, that's all easier said than done. It takes a certain mental and physical fortitude to explore these places, and in all fairness, Korin has had to built this up over time. Not every exploration can be a success story, and there have been many, many times where Korin has had to flee, barely clinging to life. There are plenty of powerful horrors hidden in these long-forgotten dungeons and places of legend, and sometimes, all you can do is attempt to avoid them... or die trying to fight them. Korin has seen many fellow dungeon crawlers lose their lives to these dangerous places, and as much as he hates to say it, sometimes he has had to abandon an ally to the gaping maws of a monster in order to save his own life. He doesn't want to do such a thing, but sometimes it is save himself, or let both of them die.
There are places where there is no glory to be found... and yet, Korin finds himself drawn to them again and again.
There is one person he would give his life for, though; his companion [COMPANION NAME]. This [DRAGON BREED] has been with him through thick and thin, and understands the lust for adventure, the craving to unearth things that haven't seen the light of day for centuries... to brave the horrors that guard these places.
One does need a place for respite, however, and for Korin and [NAME] that place is the Purring Winds. They own a small shop where they sell some of the trinkets they find, with Korin taking the ones that don't sell to Cinder, who's more than likely to pay a sum of money for them, and find a place in her collection, or her own shop.
With the money the collect, they then buy more materials and equipment that helps them in their dungeon crawling.
