Biography
TITLE/POSITION IN CLAN, magical focus, flavor text.
Once upon a time, there was a little dragonet. He was tiny, even for a guardian. But his mother guided his eyes skyward and showed him stars. Even as big as she was, the stars were bigger still. In the dark, dwarfed by the crystal spires around him, he felt comforted by the idea that even the biggest things were small when viewed from a distance. He learned to love the night and how it made lights that much brighter.
"One day, I will be bigger and brighter than the stars!" It was the kind of earnest boast that hatchlings are prone to make.
In Caern's case it actually came true. Until Cantus came along, he was the largest dragon in the clan, easily twice the size of his parents. He'd hoped to study the stars and their magic as his mother did, but his large size led him to take a more... physical stance on magic. He still loves to stargaze and observe magic for it's own sake. Because he still believes, that if he hadn't wished upon a star, he might not have grown to his prodigious length. And he will not waste the Arcanist's gift.
