Biography
Clan Matriarch, Astronomer/Astrologer, and General Layabout
Familiar: Irradiated Astronomer
(Art by khaliasama #32892)
There are some who'd say Seaglass, with her inclinations of a more philosophical bent, might do better among the Lightweaver's dragons. Seaglass' response to such speech is short, to the point, and not repeatable around the ears of hatchlings. Nothing entrances her so much as the stars at night, and she can frequently be found napping the day away in preparation for stargazing later.
She resents implications that she's lazy. She's just conserving her energy. (Yeah. Sure, let's go with that.) Her tendency towards sloth aside, she's a very sedate and calm individual, short of her obviously good natured shouting matches with Xalic and Xii, no clan member can ever recall her raising her voice in anger.
She's got a subdued sense of curiosity, while she wonders about a great many things, she doesn't like to push as hard as most others of her flight do. Instead, she prefers to dwell on what ifs and maybes, and loves nothing more than a good puzzle or riddle. She tends to talk in riddles, asking seemingly nonsensical questions and gauging the reactions and answers that result. It's why she and Xii get along so well, along with their shared love of just watching.
One question she asks to any prospective members of her clan:
"Which of these is a miracle: a rose blossoming in winter, a perfect sparkling diamond, or canned coelacanth?"
She is also never without her flower. Many wonder about it, but as always, she never gives a straight answer.
