She leaned down to the corpse of the dragon, Benares and softly put her hands on it's head. Benares had died for her.
She closed her eyes and gave it new life, to honor it. She created Kurikara.

Raiden Mei, born in Nagazora City, awoke to claim her Herrscher Core with the terrifying clap of thunder and rain pouring from the dark skies. She had reclaimed her Herrscher personality that she before oh so feared, even if it came at a cost.

It was all worth it. She knew her goal.

Nagazora

She had done it. The eruption happened through her hands, and yet the white haired girl with braids held onto her pale arm, with a bright smile. She was a Herrscher, people feared her, and yet, that girl reached out to her to give a new chance.

Kiana would be with her for a long time before another disaster tore them apart.

Elysian Realm

She entered the Elysian Realm, meeting Elysia and left the Elysian Realm saying goodbye to Elysia. It all came back to the Origin.
Even if she wanted to stay, already missing the 13 Flamechasers, she had to go back to reality and face forward, just like everyone had told her. There was nothing else to gain from staying.

The realm fizzled out of existence as Elysia embraced it for the final time and Mei knew her sacrifice 50.000 years ago allowed her to retain her humanity in the current age. She was grateful to have met Elysia.
