Elysia, derived from Eternal Elysium, chose her name as she longed to find a paradise in the world, just like the protagonist in the story did. She was as pure as the flowers blooming in an eternal garden and shone as bright as the stars.

She would bring joy to everyone, as she loved humanity and wanted to be one of them. To be.. human.

Everything began with Elysia and everything ended with her. God wanted his daughter to return home.

Promise

Even when she returned home to the sky, her effort was not in vain. Her sacrifice was made with a promise. A promise to all future Herrschers that they can make an effort to retain their humanity and love humans just as much as she did.

And it was not in vain. Mei, Herrscher of Thunder from the Current Era, retaining her humanity and fighting for those she loves entered the Elysian Realm..
