A well-established zinester and landscape painter. Mai is known throughout Focal Point city for his afternoon radio show "The Studio Locale" where he interviews local creatives, promotes upcoming events, and chats about creative trends.
Snarky, modest studio in an old building, wise. He's good at cracking jokes, wheezes a bit, and respects the younger generation's work as it forwards a progressive society.
These traits are reflected in his widely beloved daughter, Mallorie, a city-loving artist in her own right.

Those who choose to subscribe to The Studio Locale's membership program pay an annual fee to enter into prize draws and a mailing list, with the funding covering running costs as well as monthly charity donations. Together they're wittier than usual, but warm friends, and clearly passionate to listeners about each topic.

A loyal subscriber, Mai met Lucky last cycle, when fey won a members-only draw on the show for some concert tickets. Coming on air as a sweet, rambling woman who clearly has a big heart for pets, Mai saw how dearly Lucky appreciated any kindness in fer stressful world, later choosing feir animal rescue Paws & Claws to receive his next month's donation!
