Nara comes into life confused and flying through the air, his head half formed and one eye spinning as he struggles to process all the new sensory information assaulting him. As his hearing forms, he flinches away from the rushing wind and draws into himself, though the cinch of claws around his waist prevents him from moving. Seconds pass as hours, time stretching on as he comes into being during flight, limbs forming and rotating, solidifying with bone and muscle and sinew, organs forming with a sickening pulsing throb as blood pumps its way from his newly formed heart to his extremities.

When he meets solid land for the first time in his short life, he is dumped from his captor's claws before he is faced with the two heads of a dragon intent on calling herself his creator examining ever square inch of his shifting and changing body.

He whimpers in pain as a headahce builds and then splits, his skull splitting and a second brain forming anew as his second head along with all its thoughts and sensations form and he realises, then, that he has been born, has been created, for a purpose. What that is, however, Tisa will deign, Nara decides. His name feels right to him, something he himself has created, rather than having it bestowed upon him.
