Sinoos: Maxwell runs a significant branch of Valtek Innovations, and was offered the rare opportunity to be a test subject for one of their new products. The product itself was not to be sold openly, at least not initially, the company had other plans for it. Maxwell accepted the offer, and agreed to the tests. The company was quite certain there would be no major ill effects, and wanted to be able to observe the progression of the tests on somebody who would stick around the company more. At the time, he was a very successful 19 year old employee who had impressed the company on multiple occasions. The product was intended to enhance regeneration, and hold the body at the current age of the body, with less pain because of the regeneration, and less effect from illness of the body. This wasn't their first test of the product, but it was their most successful. To this day, he looks and acts as young and energetic as he was when he underwent testing. His biggest complaint about the procedure, is that he keeps getting carded when he goes out to drink. He also works as an HR department head, on a second payroll. He somehow keeps up with both jobs really well.


Extra: Maxwell is absolutely obsessed with coffee, especially what he refers to as "Corporate Coffee", which is the kind the company provides. He has no idea what kind that is, but he's constantly trying to get other people to try it. People often make jokes about him being paid as a spokesperson for the coffee. He also likes to point out how much of the coffee Randall drinks, but seems to make it out as a positive unlike other employees. Some employees have been making jokes that the coffee has something in it, and they feed it to their bosses to make them abnormally charismatic. Nobody really takes the joke seriously though.
