Background
Pricklepear watched her sister die mere moments after their hatching, and in that moment vowed to protect her brothers' lives at any cost. Though she quickly became confident in Seelie's ability to look after himself, Aurum became her charge, and she will devote her life to protecting his wellbeing at all costs.

Seelie's death changed her perspective on what it means to protect Aurum. Where before Pricklepear was solely concerned with his survival, seeing the effects of his brother's death on him has given her a lot to consider when it comes to his emotional wellbeing. While her efforts at emotional comfort are clumsy and uncertain, the effort seems to be appreciated.

Current Status
Pricklepear is entirely devoted to the protection of her charge, which extends to the protection of the convoy.

Personality
While she generally comes off as abrasive and distrusting and she avoids forming close bonds with others, Pricklepear holds a strong love for her brother. Her care for him extends to those he cares for, though she will never truly consider them as close or important as Aurum.
