Background
After witnessing the violence of their home, Ash encouraged her siblings to flee, and ran away with them. She kept them out of trouble as best she could, until they could reach somewhere safer.

Cinder's death doesn't quite feel real to Ash, and they aren't sure it ever will. The absence of their rowdier sister feels more like a disruption in routine than a death, and they feel they are bothered by it for all the wrong reasons.

Blaze's death feels equally unreal, having happened so soon after losing Cinder, even though Ash watched it happen. The entire situation has made Ash withdraw on themself, becoming unapproachable and quiet, entirely devoted to doing whatever task is set out before her.

Current Status
Ash does whatever tasks she can take on, making herself as useful as possible to the convoy to distract from their lacking feelings regarding their absent siblings.

Personality
Ash is serious and thoughtful, preferring to think things through and not make spur of the moment decisions. They can grow upset when their plans or thought processes are disrupted by new information, but they do their best to remain calm even then.
