Atlas was never one for the lavish life of royalty. Politics bored him and the drama was simply too much. Luckily for him, his mother not only approved his request to leave but she even suggested a small clan in which he could settle down in. More than happy to make his own path in life, he left for Starwood where the clan resided. He became quite close with its residence, Nyx especially considering she was the only other obelisk there. With the magical curiosities of Starwood to keep him busy, he studied magic alongside Nyx and helped her manage her powers when it became too much for her. This drew them closer and eventually the couple had a pair of twins to raise. Despite their studies, they made time for their daughters and raise them to the best of their abilities. Once the clan moved to the vale, Nyx's work in clan management started to pull her away from teaching her pupils, Atlas was more than happy to step up and fill the role. All though under the condition that he had to work with Eudialyte, who he's not the fondest of but they get the job done.
