Biography
Usagi
Bard
Bard
Usagi is an odd dragon, even for a fae. For one, he doesn't speak, though whether that's due to a physical condition or a vow of silence isn't clear (and he's not eager to share). Combine that with a his breed's natural lack of expression, and Usagi is incredibly difficult to read. His lack of outward expression can make it difficult to predict what he's thinking, which makes him come off as impulsive and capricious. Such a small dragon with only a harp seems like an unusual fit for the crew of the Wandering Storm, up until the moment you learn that the "easy target" is easily the most powerful breath user aboard the ship. Usagi earns his keep not just by pitching in with the work, but by being able to blast pirate ships out of the waters and the skies, making them easier to take down. And, of course, he can defend himself and the Wandering Storm well. His magic is what got him his current position. When Hadan and the rest of the crew laughed off the weird little fae that wanted to board the ship, he challenged the captain to a fight and beat him easily, earning his respect and the position Usagi wanted. As for why Usagi chose to sail with this much more lively and rowdy crew? Aside from generally enjoying the work, he's come to care for his fellow crewdrakes, more so than they likely care for him. But he doesn't mind that one bit. |

We've got a boi without lore here, but I still had to include him anyway. The combination of red and green is oddly, quite gorgeous. I don't often see pirates in FR so it's a refreshing lore idea. I think the standout pieces of apparel here are the Boneyard Bard and the Furious Banner. The koi tops it all off.

He is most likely the most unique dragon i have ever come across while doing these reviews. The orange and pink tones of his body mixed with the green of the koi and the red of his apparel, when i think of this colour scheme normally i dont see it wokring out but for some reason he just pulls it off so well i dont even reliaze the mix and match of colours he has going on. I love the use of apparel on him, and how you gave him some dainty apparel along with the bard piece and the banner. He is such a nice fae and i really enjoy looking at him cause every time i do i find something different on him that i did not notice before- i think he is a really good find.

Green + Orange seems such an underrated combo. I might be wrong! But i love rare combos, something about Usagi's apparel just clicks with him. And overall he's such a sweet character. I tend to gravitate towards the quiet and reserved-type characters. I love him!!!!

I really like Usagi, he feels very... character design-y? If that makes sense? He oozes personality from his apparel. He looks a little more reserved and of course the apparel immediately screams bard too. I wouldn't think of his as part of a pirate crew initially but he's really neat. You want to know more.
