Biography
Belladonna
Sailing Master
Sailing Master
There aren't many dragons that can stomach the type of work done by the crew of the Wandering Storm, but Belladonna was seemingly born for it. Their lazy, laid back attitude might come across as antithetical to the hard work of sailing, but as soon as trouble starts, they swing into action. They're callous, cruel, and generally see life as a joke with (your) death as the punchline. They've got no moral code outside of having fun and enjoying life, which just so happened to line up with this line of work well. Belladonna doesn't actively go looking for trouble, but they love getting involved in it when they find any. They enjoy bargaining with and scamming salesdrakes and entertainers, and they're typically the first crewmember to make their way to taverns when docked. They're also typically the first one thrown out for starting a fight. Needless to say, they're very fun at parties. Hadan knew Belladonna in his previous line of work, but when the two ran into eachother after he was hired by Greenport, Bell basically invited themselves onto his crew. Hadan let them stay, partially because he knew they worked well together, and partially because the bounty on their head wasn't worth collecting. They've got no loyalty to Hadan or the rest of his crew, but they stick around for the money and adventures. |

THEY ARE SERVING PIRATE. Before even looking at their lore I was sitting here like, no shot is this dragon's anything but a pirate. The smug bogsneak pose is perfect for them, and I'm obsessed with the interaction between the patchwork and opal. Their bright blue lightning eye stands out and creates some awesome visual interest, letting you kind of rest your eye for a moment before being pulled back into the layering of the apparel.

They look like a classic pirate scallywag, the one who would either buy you a pint of beer or punch you in the face. Or punch you in the face and then buy you a pint of beer. The apparel layering is, once again, absolutely stunning. The necklace, the striped shirt, and the sash immediately communicate This dragon is a pirate! I love the unruly hair quite a lot too. The color palette fit perfectly with that Jolly Roger look.
The lore is fun as well! I love this specific type of character a lot. Let the chaos ensue!

I think I talked about them once in the past bc i have them liked, and I also wrote a sonnet for them before losing my progress already in this post, but idc I’ll do it again I l o v e them. The layering? Check. The mood? Check. The colours? Check. The lore? Check. Beautiful dragon? Check check check check check. Kelpie mane looks good! That’s literally one of my least favourite pieces of aooarel and I am gobsmacked over how great it looks on them.
I also want to shout out the shale patchwork for the secondary, it is serving pirate. Especially with the layering of bronze opal overtop. Ugh I love this dragon, every time I look at them I want to go a lil wild and spend some moolah on geneing up a bog

pirate dragon! i'm doing happy wiggles bc i love pirate dragons! first: their lore. i love love love me some characters just here for the chaos of it all. no sorry, no rules can hold them, no moral compass, no cares for the opinions of others. massive fan of that, such good lore. also, you are singlehandedly making me reconsider my 'no stitch/patch' stance bc here's another one where it's an outstanding choice. fascinated by the patchwork with opal, it's not messy? but feels like it should be? the shale patch with their outfit tho like damn you knew exactly what you were doing huh. i'm obsessed with the cartographer apparel being used as a map, i adore the kelpie mane, i love the copper jewellery, AND!! birdskull gear!! srsly they are just fantastic from the top down. and bogsneaks look so smug, they know exactly how awesome they are. good for them. go raise some heck, bell.

bogsneaks my beloveds<3 Belladonna is stunning! i don’t need to read their lore to know that they are meant to be a pirate. and when i get to their lore: i love it! your writing is really enjoyable to read. their gene combo makes them look interesting even under all the apparel. shale patchwork looks so good???
