Dragons from far and wide had heard about the new discovery of a creature called the Aberration - an Ancient dragon from the Wyrmwound.
The clan of Deer's Death was ecstatic after finding out about a brand new breed from the Scarred Wasteland, much like their enthusiasm when Gaolers were first found. Unfortunately, they decided to practice their enthusiasm in the same way they had then... by developing a process to breed change a dragon into one. The selected dragons were Sasha and Abraham, the twin hatchlings of the clan's leaders.
Her brother Abraham was a bit luckier, having taken the version of the breed change scroll that causes the changes gradually, as well as having the chance to escape, but Sasha wasn't. She tried to escape along with her brother, but the change had taken hold... and was a process that took place over just a few minutes.
It wasn't supposed to take a few minutes, and it showed. Quite horrifically, and painfully, in fact.
Sasha hasn't been very successful with integrating her new identity as an Aberration yet. Due to how unstable the process of breedchanging was for her, she doesn't process her separate identities like most Aberrations do. In the long-term, she still has constant muscle spasms and aches.
