BIOGRAPHY

______ Halictus loves to get her claws dirty and prefers it over sitting in the court all day listening to nobles talk at her. She has her own personal garden that she tends to and will actively snap at anyone who dares touch a single plant! Whether it be a flower, vegetable, or fruit she will defend them. She will sit and talk to her plants about anything and everything. A lot of dragons view her with a strong distaste.

Halictus watches bees and butterflies bounce around her garden. Her eyes didn’t stray far from the tiny creatures. Leaving only when the large wings of two bright blue dragons entered her vision, one Ridgeback and one Imperial. The imperial’s wings flicked, her eyes tracking the movement as they brush against her apple tree with distaste. Her distaste quickly washed away as she peered at the wings closer to find they were like that of the sweet little bees buzzing over her flowers. The Ridgebacks wing smacked the imperial in the face, they looked like the fragile wings of the tiny butterflies that would rest on her snout. And something started unfurling in her mind like a flower reacting to the first rays of golden sunlight. And she wasn’t sure if it was unfurling for a good reason…. She wanted them, she wanted dragons of her descent to be as beautiful as butterflies but determined and hardworking like that of the always traveling bees. But her mind whispered with a tainted hint of glee ‘And as cruel and harsh as the unforgiving wasps that nested within her heart’

She approached the two dragons and spoke with them. The two apologize they hadn’t known they were in her garden. She had told them it was fine as long as they brought no harm to the plants and trees. She had learnt their names Orbislacteus and Whistle; she gave them her name in return. When they left she started with a plan. She sent the two dragons flowers with the hope they didn’t know what the flowers meant ‘ and that they wouldn’t figure out her twisted plans and reasoning behind them’ she sent them primroses, pink roses, lavender roses, And snapdragons. Of course those flowers didn’t come from her garden. she wouldn’t dare give up such beautiful flowers. She faked a loving smile when the two returned with more red roses then she knew what to do with. The two at least have the brains to bring her potted roses and not cut roses.

Halictus holds the plans for her new house. She stared down at it and racked her eyes over it repeatedly. After being ‘gifted the land’ she set off to make a small nursery. If her plan was going to move smoothly, she needed it to be perfect. Besides she could teach her children even the imperfect ones Why she was doing the things she is. She could teach them about her gardens and plant that seed into their head to make them see what she saw. Her mind wanders over too her children Basil and Myrtus. They weren't what she wanted but they could still play apart in her garden. She held the plans up to the half-finished cabin. The sun casted a beautiful canopy of green and yellow and the forest buzzed with life. The forest itself was close to her father Gareth and queen Guinevere’s court. She decided she would split her time between the court and her own desires. She put the plans down and smiled. Be it a twisted smile that showed just a little too many teeth. Now it was time to decide what she would plant here. Maybe she would bring some of her best plants.
