Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this rejected bean wandered a little too far from her home lair of |
Merry was raised in one of the poorer families of Cybernet, living in the area that made up the outskirts of the city. The oldest of 12 siblings, Merry found herself becoming the caretaker of her family. From a young age, it was her job to go work in the factory and her job to purchase food and make sure her family was cared for. It was dirty and difficult work, but Merry knew it had to be done.
Then, Merry grew up, and she was "selected". She was given a job at the palace of Cybernet, working at the armory. She made several friends there, including a dragon named Viber. The two roomed together for a while in on of the eastern regions of the city while Viber worked on some articles. Merry continued her work at the armory, rising up in the ranks. For the first time in her life, she was happy. Then, the new ruler stepped in, removing all who didn't fit the "royal bloodline" from those kinds of jobs. Then, Merry was on her own again.
With all of Merry's siblings being grown up, the Wildclaw decided it was time to adventure out into the world on her own like her friend had done, with no one depending on her except herself. Well, maybe she'd also end up finding someplace to spend the rest of her life at.
After hours of travelling, she finally ended up in the Kingdom of Ascension, and stayed in Glory Village for a few days, meeting and hanging out with others within the village. She had heard about rumors of the queen calling common dragon-folk to her manor, and how no one knows what happens to them after. One day, she was mysteriously called to go to Ascension Manor, and the moment she heard about it, she flew away as fast as possible. She knew she could never come back again.
Merry found herself in the plague realm, the strange smells and thick humid atmosphere was quite different from the soft sweet smells of the arcane realm but she decided she would find a place to stay for a few days while she thinks of what she should do next.
She found herself at Sei's Clan and Was welcomed by HarkoHarvester who happily welcomed her to the clan and chatting with her for awhile, wanting to find out why she had come to the clan.
After finding out she has just stopped by for a few days to gather herself and rest, maybe work for a few days to gain some treasure for the road. Harko smiled and gladly showed her to the Local INN so that she may get a room, unfortunately there were no room available but luckily Harko Knew that Panthera was looking for help around the house while her mate was out on a tip.
After arriving at the lair of Panthera and her and Merry were introduced they came to an agreement that Merry may stay with her for a few days if she helps out around the house, and she would even throw in some treasure for the help. The two became fast friends, joking and laughing all day as they worked around the lair. The two were almost like sisters , having many things in common including the same sense of humor.
After a few days Merry decided she she move on to the next Realm, even though she enjoyed her time here with her new friend, she could not bring herself to stay in the plague realm as she had still not gotten use to the smell and her lungs still felt heavy from the thick air.
With a tearful and joyful goodbye she tucked her photo of her and her new friend into her bag and took off on her way.
Merry's stay in Ensorca was long but peaceful- strife rarely broke the peace of the quiet Light clan, and even when it did it was quickly dealt with by their warriors. She took the time to lay back and relax, befriending many of the clan and becoming beloved by them. When it was finally time for her to depart, she was given a parting gift by their lead warrior, Cavador.

Merry wasn't exactly thrilled about being in such a cold wasteland but she had made her way to the Moonbleeder clan so she figured she should at least stay for a little while. She admired the hardiness of the massive conifer that arose from the reclaimer's glacier, and it was an astonishing feat that the tree could withstand such a harsh climate. While Merry stayed in the clan she would make trip up the cliff edge to study the tree and follow where its roots lead, however she didn't end up finding any solution to the mystery as the roots burrowed deep into the ice into places she could not follow. This didn't stop her from asking the locals what was up with the place, but no one seemed to have an answer either, not even the Nature or the Arcane ambassadors had any clue.
Merry wasn't sure she could handle staying in the clan any longer as the mystery started to keep her up at night and she was a bit too transfixed by the ancient tree, so she packed what little she brought with her and planned to make her way back to the mainland.
Merry made a brief stay in the Wind Territory city of Caesura during her travels. She had heard through the grapevine that a new gathering place and rest stop had opened there, and wanted to see it with her own eyes. It was everything that could be hoped for! The Rest Hub itself was an old-fashioned inn that had been set up just across the street from a fun local watering hole. There were plenty of other familiar faces also stopping by to tell stories and share drinks aplenty!
Merry really liked her new look because the sparkles made her look much richer then her origins really were. She wasn't going to get snooty of course. She hated snoots. Merry walked around in the plaguelands for a bit and ate some good food but she left soon.
Merry kept on truckin in the plaguelands when suddenly her eyes perceived many abnormal things. Millions of furnitures were having a pool party and all of them had bed bugs. 1 of them had eyes. Thats when merry realized how long she had been travelling and how much she wanted to travel away from here. "Good lord i need a vacation" she said and immediately started making her way to the nearest tropical resort
Merry stayed within the gladevines for a long time, amongst a small colony of other travelling dragons.
Merry found her way to dragonhome, where she met Wairen, who offered her a ride on the airship, the Novaline.
Merry soon found herself in Shadow territory. While she was aware of the offputting surroundings, at least she had some knowledge of the place. The clan that took her in was eerily quiet. Upon her arrival, she was ushered into a giant nest with dried animal skin spanning over the top of the huge ribs that encased it. While she was unknowing if they belonged to other dragons or not, she didn't want to ask. Besides the dragon(?) that had tried to get her to remain in the nest was speaking in a language she didn't quite understand. They were mostly clicking and chirping at her. Ultimately, she knew that the Skydancer(??) meant well. She couldn't help but notice that their face looked more skeletal than anything.
Nonetheless, she felt relatively safe within this place.
Merry arrived in From Rubble Rises Hope after a long time of traveling. Rubble was tucked comfortably between the Earth and Water flight territories, the landscape surrounding the small town rocky and strewn with waterfalls. She found the area beautiful and easy on the eyes. Though the town was small the occupants had big personalities. Moira, in particular, was a quiet but strangely loud dragon. The Guardian didn't speak but her actions were boisterous. Merry became quick friends with the strange dragon and quickly discovered that Moira wasn't normal.
Though Merry was treated well while in Rubble she eventually had to leave because she didn't want to get caught up in the ongoing civil war between two parts of a nearby clan.
