Biography

(Splenetic Sorrow)
Royalty is tougher to connect with than most Banescales, being both literally prickly and emotionally ill-tempered and impatient. However, the gentry family they hail from is reportedly even more cantankerous and snobbish. Fed up with their parents' attitude and cruelty, they abandoned home to seek safer, healthier environment and a healthier, kinder version of themselves. Of course, Sketch, having encountered them on a trip to the Trading Post, was happy to offer a den in the Clan of Slumber for a comfortable place to process their complicated feelings of loneliness, disappointment, and homesickness.
Advised by the clan's fae leader to move at their own comfort level, Royalty took a more secluded, rocky den at the base of a mountainous area, and perambulated into the common grounds only occasionally. She wasn't a particularly popular companion at first, but has since acquired some friendships and acquaintances, particularly with like-minded, similarly asocial individuals. With the help of Suria and Hiero, they found Prickles, and have been using the opportunity to care for him as a therapeutic recovery technique. So far, it's been working fairly well, especially in helping Royalty develop a more empathetic connection with nature.
