Biography
A cheerful dragon with a motherly attitude. Even though she does not eat plants herself, she tends a garden for those of the clan who do. She knows almost everything there is to know about plants, and she takes pride in this.
The branches at her shoulders are actually bound to her body via magic, and grow with her like a natural extension of her body. They often ache or itch when growing, and when the seasons change the leaves change as well (in the spring/summer sometimes even growing small flowers). Like molting feathers, the changing leaves create an odd, itchy sensation and it's hard not to accidentally damage her own leaves. Fortunately, the branches are largely magical in nature, and thus it's doubtful this connection to Arbora will ever harm her.
If there was one thing Arbora was sure of, it was this: you did not have to be a Nature dragon to be good at growing things.
Yes, being born of the Ice was perfectly fine.
No, this did not mean that you killed everything you tried to nurture.
Honestly, what was this?
The Scarred Wasteland? Even the Plaguebringer couldn't be so destructive.
Well. That was always up for debate.
But still.
Arbora loved growing things in her small greenhouse.
You could find most of Sorineth's herbs in her garden, though there was a small section that she kept a secret.
Arbora may not have been much of a toxicologist, but there wasn't any harm in keeping a few poisonous plants around.
She was fiercely protective of this clan, after all.
Nothing would ever make her give it up.
Arbora knew everything there was to know about plants.
It was easy to mistake her for a Nature dragon, what with the spouting of plant facts and distinctly nature-ish colouration.
She didn't mind, though.
Nature flight or not, she still loved growing things.
Not even the colour of her eyes or her elemental allegiance would stop her from pursuing her passion.
Then again, most dragons assumed that she was from the Nature flight because of the giant branches sprouting from her shoulders.
They were a magical extension of her body, and had first emerged around the time of the Greenskeeper Gathering.
It was her affinity to plants that had caused it, many argued.
Arbora didn't need an explanation.
She was perfectly happy and didn't mind the presence of the branches.
They emitted a mildly sweet and comforting fragrance, and gave Arbora a strangely calming aura.
Sometimes the branches would grow flowers, changing with the seasons.
Despite the magical branches connected to her shoulder blades, Arbora was just like any other dragon.
Any other Nature dragon.
She did not need her element to determine her future.

Since it's quite cold in the Southern Icefields, Arbora often finds quite difficult to keep branches on her shoulders safe. When they first appeared she even thought she might need to move somewhere where it'd be warmer, but even a thought of leaving her clan was painful for her... And then all the tundras of her clan decided it would just be unfair if she had to live in constant worry - so now, when cold times arrive, she always has one or two of her clanmates by her sides, comforting and warming her and the branches. And no, they're not eating the leaves! How could you even think about it, shame on you.
...only one leaf, maybe...

I whine about the tree stuck on my shoulders while taking a bath in a cold river. Every time a hatchling comes by and does even the smallest thing, I go insane and teach them about what they did, giving them happy lectures. I'm so happy around others that it is a contagious disease of smiling and tree hugging.
