Xe fell out of a dimensional portal and perpetually smells like incomprehensible dead things, probably because the main thing xe does is crush incomprehensible things. The flowers were given to xem in hopes that they'd cover the smell. They didn't. Now Null just smells like flowers combined with dead eldritch creatures. It's going to take strange eons to get it out of the carpet. Sometimes xe makes Darth Vader-esque breathing noises. No one's sure why xe continues to wear the helmet even though it clearly blocks xyr breathing. Perhaps it gives xem heat vision? Or maybe it limits xyr power or hides a deformity.

Null remains silent about the matter of xyr helmet, like xe remains silent about everything. Is xe incapable of speech? Does xe not speak the local language? Is xe actually quite eloquent, but on frequencies dragons can't hear? Is xe just shy? Nobody knows. Xe's truly a mystery in every aspect. But xe does good work together with Huggles and Mipsy. Together, they crush all in their way with the combined power of love, hatred, and whatever Null does.
