Once a prophet of Apollo, Circe is now better known for her visions of the future of not only the Shadow Flight, but the Ice Flight as well. She has been a strong supporter of Starshine and hopes that the next royal marriage will be between Calypso and a member of the Ice Flight. She is protective of her disciples and kind to her followers, but make sure to never cross her, for her wraith is truly a terrifying sight to behold. She was once betrayed by an adventurer that she gave her heart to, so she now holds a strong hatred towards those who dare slight her. Her methods for revenge definitely push the envelope, and if she wasn't so involved in the workings of the Raven Kingdom, the enemies she has made would have surely struck her down by now. Her influence rivals that of Skirk's, the blood deity, and their followers frequently clash due to each side distrusting the other's knowledge of the future. She's not above spreading rumors to decrease his following, and has recently set her sights on Sinnafain due to the disciple's rather vocal distaste towards Circe's methods. 10/7/2023 It is rumored that Circe assisted Sadeaos in his takeover of the kingdom. The whispers say she was dissatisfied with Calypso's choice to wed outside of the royal family and blamed Indigo for allowing it to happen. Perhaps this is her attempt to gain more power, squashing Skirk's influence once and for all. Perhaps she has succeeded, or perhaps she has been betrayed. How else would one explain her leaving the confines of the palace and relocating to the Overworld? |
