Hailing from a distant land known only as World's Edge, Asphodel is a gentle soul with a free spirit. Once a gatherer for her peaceful home, she was driven by a desire to see the world, to see the sights of what lay beyond the reaches of her birthclan's territory. One fateful day, while gathering even further from home than usual, she would meet the dragon who changed her life. They convinced her to leave, to travel the world and see those sights, and so Asphodel left and never turned back.

Arriving in the domain of the Windsinger, a strange phenomenon began to occur. Whispers of those from beyond the grave began to haunt Asphodel's dreams, and every day they seemed to become clearer. On a moonless night, she finally understood. She saw the ghosts of countless dragons; a spiral who had plummeted to her death after falling asleep mid-flight, a mirror who had been abandoned by his pack, a guardian who had taken his own life after the loss of his charge. She could see and hear those voices of the dead, lost, wandering, without rest.

Being the kind soul she is, Asphodel decided there must be something she could do to offer these restless spirits some reprieve. Simultaneously, she thought, she could provide this safe space also to those yet living. And so the Haunt came to be; a small tea shop where dragons both living and dead could take a moment of respite and enjoy some freshly brewed tea. Asphodel soon also began serving as an intermediate between those living and dead, allowing spirits to tell their final tales and helping to solve their lingering regrets.

And so do the voices of the dead ever whisper their gratitude...
