Biography
Slime and Sludge were both experiments gone wrong. Originally gifted to a skilled alchemist as a pair of nocturne eggs destined for experimentation, the two were quickly put to use. Sludge's egg was thrown into a boiling cauldron, surrounded by materials of varying colour and intense heat. The oozes and goos wormed their way into the egg, seemingly desperate for a place to cool down. Unfortunately, all they did was heat up the tiny nocturne hatchling within- as well as turn the poor thing into a bogsneak made entirely out of blue ooze and sludge, with a hint of purple goo.
He eventually fought his way out of his egg, aggressively as possible so as to avoid being boiled alive. Unfortunately, this desperation imprinted on the young bogsneak- to this day he still has a twinge of aggravation and occasionally even desperation. Though as soon as the other nocturne egg hatched, producing a slimey bogsneak similar to Sludge, the Alchemist that transformed them kicked them out onto the street. They hadn't gone well, apparently.
Since then, Sludge grew close to Slime, and the two formed a relationship consisting of mainly brewing in their respective cauldrons. Sludge tends to hunt for anything they may need for various recipes, such as podid claws and the like. They've become widely renowned members of the Muck Flight, even giving life to many offspring that have also gone on to become successful in their fields, whether it be alchemy or something else all-together.
