Biography

arcane_small_by_vamonkea-dai56rq.png Green Ooze White Slime Green Sludge arcane_small_by_vamonkea-dai56rq.png

Slime and Sludge were both experiments gone wrong. Originally gifted to a skilled alchemist as a pair of nocturne eggs destined for experimentation, the two were quickly put to use. Slime's egg was placed in a large bowl of various transmutation materials, from black slime to copper muck to red ooze. It slowly seeped into the egg, and by proxy the tiny nocturne within. Though soon enough, she was no loner a nocturne- instead, a bogsneak made entirely of white slime, with the occasional green ooze or sludge splashed in there as well. Because the materials simply seeped into the egg, slowly and relatively peacefully, the bogsneak that crawled out of the slimey egg had a similar temperament- peaceful and cautious.

Slime managed to get out of her egg later than Sludge, because the materials that had invaded her egg weren't hot or dangerous (relatively). She felt no urgency to get out. But eventually, as the egg filled and any yolk grew contaminated and any air left to breath slowly disappeared, she finally stuck a gooey claw out of her shell. The alchemist that transformed them dumped them out on the street. Apparently they hadn't gone well.

Since then, Slime grew close to Sludge, and the two formed a relationship consisting of mainly brewing in their respective cauldrons. Slime tends to forage for any bugs or plants they may need for various recipes. They've become widely renowned members of the Muck Flight, even giving life to many offspring that have also gone on to become successful in their fields, whether it be alchemy or something else all-together.
