Deep beneath the Pox Consulate's forest, he dwells, nestled in the warren's furthermost corners. It is said that he counts no age and that he even predates all of Sornieth's deities. Borne was he, without a face to call his own and, thus, he took it upon himself to steal the faces of others. At one point, an unnamed Guardian dragon, who had lost face in this world by losing his charge, would stray into this neck of the woods to die. Truly, only the most forlorn would ever dare descend into this maddening labyrinth. It was not until long that the spineless invertebrate would also strip the trailing search party of chimeras of their humanoid faces, earning himself the sobriquet of Face Stealer. His dorsal ocelli can, however, only discern light and dark, allowing him to only detect faces that express emotions. He will, thus, try to elicit a reaction out of potential victims with the stolen faces, his manifold répertoire of buffers from reality.
