Aura is very strong willed and laughs off any peer pressure as you would a light breeze. Quite content to keep doing her own thing she has no sympathy for the weak willed when they get into a problem a simple 'no' would have prevented.

Her 'partner' is Boreas, a dragon with similar (if grumpier) mindset and a ferocious temper. Aura is pretty much the only dragon in the clan who likes Boreas enough to hang around him AND stubborn enough to weather his temperamental outbursts. Their arguments are already a thing of legend but when asked Aura laughs them off and never seems to get angry. If anything she likes arguing with him.

Aura's job is being the clan's flight instructor. Despite not being of the Wind flight she has a good sense for air currents and a large set of wings, possibly from some unknown Wind ancestry.

While she mostly teaches the hatchlings how to use their wings, she also helps those changed by magic to regain their wing sense. This is a service she also extends to passing travellers, for a small fee of course.
