Shallot

Shallot is onions' older sister. She's not older by much, only a few minutes.
during the attack that started the second war. also known as the loss of the marshlands, shallot had picked the same rotting stump to hide in as onion and the other snappers. she had run with the group trying to get to freedom, trying to live.
and I'm sure if she hadn't tripped over that rock on the way there that she would've been eating waffles in the capital with onion and Skyfright.

But she tripped over that rock and landed in a puddle full of dead fish, trash and dragons' blood. Eventually, after wobbling around stunned, someone found her. Unfortunately for her, it was one of the enemy soldiers. The soldier was the newly named General Alexandria, she took Shallot back to the marshlands and then she was taken away far far away to the place these evil dragons came from.
As it turns out the pollution she fell into was quite toxic, she's had some breathing problems since pulling herself out of that gross puddle. Hence why instead of being drafted she's been behind enemy lines running errands for General Alexandria. she hates it, she's sure Her sisters have all died, and she's sure she'll wind up dead while running one of these stupid errands she hates so much. The only things that now bring Shallot happiness are the toy she made out of scrap firewood and twine. it reminds her of the happier times in her long-forgotten childhood. And a male cotal she met on one of her errands named soot.

In a deep dark cave in the dark polluted Marshlands of the south, Shallot hatched a nest of snappers, away from the prying eyes of her new overlords. She wanted her children to have a kind and safe upbringing, unlike what Shallot herself had gone through. So when her children stated to open their small, adorable, white snapper eyes she distracted her mistress Alexandria while her mate Soot scooped up the hatchlings and fled. He was subsequently attacked by harpies while flying past an outpost, mistaken for a hatchling-napper instead of their father. The hatchlings were spread through the lands far and wide in an attempt to find somewhere safe to hide.
