 Haunt was born in an ancient lair in the Wispwillow Grove to Aether of the Shadow flight and Nix of the Water Flight. Specifically, their home was the Ghost Flame Graveyard, an eerie place full of ghosts, spectres, and phantoms of all kinds. His neighbours had names such as Banshee and Marrow, and Haunt began his life surrounded by the shadows of death. Perhaps that is why he seems to be something a little more -- or less -- than alive, depending on how you look at it.

Ghostly foxfire attends his every movement, floating little sprites of glowing blue flame that seem harmless enough, though other dragons tend to keep their distance anyway. Haunt doesn't mind, as he spends little time keeping company with the living.

Thought he seems sinister, Haunt is not evil. Misunderstood, yes. Feared, also yes. But he means no harm. Why he came to the Starfall Isles is a mystery, but since he arrived, there have been strange sightings all over the Starwood Strand of ghostly lights and phantom travelers. Did he bring them with him, or did his arrive awaken something?
