Leader of the Errata, because no one else would lead. No one else could lead; no one wanted the responsibility of being one step from failing them all. They're racers. They're not fighters, not a company, not an agency.

Maybe she is reckless. Maybe she is naīve. Maybe this is just a power trip for her own gain.

Maybe, in fact, everyone should shut up unless they want the responsibility for themselves.

Jaguar isn’t stupid. Hank’s the most wanted dragon in Nevada for a reason, and she’s not going to take the Errata head-on into their reaper’s scythe. The Agency, too, has got something up with it; anyone with eyes and a brain can see. But the Agency controls the borders, and the Agency wants Hank, and if Hank gets caught and the Errata can be spun as the culprits—

Well.

Jaguar isn’t stupid. Hank isn’t infallible, and if there’s one thing Nevada’s got, it’s mercenaries for days. The Agency’s not omnipotent; once the Errata run, the Agency’s wrath isn’t their problem anymore. The morals of it all? That’s hers to bear, her responsibility to take.

Jaguar’s not paranoid. She’s not wizened. She’s not entirely selfless in her goals.

But she isn’t stupid, and she’s the leader they’ve got.
