Wooden Woodcarver
"I love wood. I love its permanence, its way of changing hue over the years, its way of expanding and contracting, of moving or aging and growing better and more
beautiful with time."

Rosewood used to be a tree, like Bonsai. Her transformation was much different, however. When she was planted, a gardener carefully molded her branches and roots to make the form of a dragon they had once loved. It took decades for her to fully become what she was being trained to be, and even then it only was in form.

The last dying wish of the gardener was to be buried near their creation. Not long after, the tree found herself awake and aware, able to move. Seemingly the circle of life took the body of the creator to make the creation live.

When she was given dragon form, Rosewood chose to continue working with wood since she still is a tree at heart. Instead of cutting live wood, the golem takes fallen trees and makes them into works of art as well as functional pieces. Love and reverence is put into every single piece that comes from her delicate hands... and some of the pieces new owners seem to feel as if their item is actually alive in a sense.

While many have wondered what exactly Rosewood is, the dragon-tree herself doesn't bother to spend time on pondering. There is too much joy to be found in living and creating beauty. Any other reason for her existence is nothing that really matters.
