Katla is not a particularly strong spell-caster, but she is a witch nonetheless. Specializing in potions and charms, she travels from place to place, promising love and fortune to any dragon who buys her wares. Whether these promises hold any worth is vague, at best.

During an unfortunately one-sided conflict with some past customers, Jiselle comes to her rescue. And while she assumes at first that Jiselle saw her as the innocent merchant she clearly is, it turns out after the fact that she simply thought the other dragons would be more interesting opponents. Katla can't help but laugh.
