Noone actually knows where she came from

Somehow knows Xaria from life befor the clan but nether will say how

So full of magic that she can wield more than just ice. Shes actually fire and arcane as well!

At times eyes can turn color. Left eye ice/right eye fire both glow.

Loves tiger lillies

Lore writen by Rei711
From the moment she was hatched, it had become clear she was no ordinary dragon. Though her eyes held the crystal-clear signs of one blessed with arcane magic, her parents soon found that she had a startling capacity for manipulating fire and ice. With such potential in her veins, was it any surprise when she felt the urge to see the world and the wonders it held, to strike out on her own and explore?

There were so many wonderful and beautiful things in this wide universe. From jewels, to exotic blossoms, to intricately carved artifacts, if they caught her fancy Kirara would pursue them until she got her claws on them.

Her roaming had taken her to many places. From the southern icy isles of the Icewarden’s lands to the Gladekeeper’s lush forests, she had seen it all. The only thing she truly lacked was a sense of stability, and true friendship. During her travels, she’d encountered many other dragons, but most had been either wary of her magic or sought to make use of her abilities. Being friendly wasn’t always a good thing, Kirara reflected, not when there were those out there who would try to manipulate her. Travelling and seeing the world was fun, but deep down she wanted to learn more about her own kind, yearned for a companion to spend her days with, for someone who could understand her fears and worries, someone she could laugh with under the sunny skies.

When will I really have a friend…?

The thought of being alone forever saddened her. Dragons had clanmates, family, friends, yet all Kirara had were her birth parents, and she’d left them behind long ago when she set out to explore the world. A part of her regretted doing so, but it was too late to turn the clock now. Everywhere she went, there were dragons with companions and loved ones by their sides, and it only served to highlight how clearly she wasn’t quite one of them.

So she retreated from the more crowded areas of Sornieth, dove deep into the uncharted and wild zones of land where fewer dragons were. Here there were more loners like herself wandering the area, but none ever displayed interest in maintaining a friendship, she was lucky if she could manage to get their name at all. Today she had run into a lone pearlcatcher, but he’d hardly so much as glanced her way when she called out to him.

“Oh, bother it all. Some dragons are just too hard to talk to.” She huffed, toying with one of her favourite gemstones idly, watching the way the light danced off the faceted surface. The shimmering colors were oddly soothing, almost lulling her into a light doze, when something fluttered past just inches from her face.

Amidst the dimness of the forest’s shade, the lone firefly was a tiny glimmer of luminance, the warm glow cheering Kirara up almost instantly. Without thinking, she got to her feet to follow the tiny fluttering light, it wasn’t as if she’d known where she was going before. Had she known better, perhaps she would’ve called the insect a guide, for it led her out of the forest into a grassy valley, and what awaited her there was a sight she had never seen before despite her time as a wanderer.

Fireflies danced in a heady swarm of light, illuminating the rippling expanse of grass with their warm glow. They stood out as brightly as the sparks flying from a blacksmith’s forge amidst the darkening night sky. So enchanted was Kirara by the sight that she couldn’t help but conjure several sparks of her own, vibrant pinkish bursts of radiance blooming in mid-air to illuminate her surroundings, gleefully made them dance along with her as she spun wildly, crowing with childish delight. Only when the light from her magic fell on a hulking figure standing not too far away did she realise she wasn’t alone.

“Who’s there?”

His gaze had been trained on her the entire time, it seemed, yet so still was he that at first Kirara wasn’t sure if he was real or not. She paused expectantly for several long moments, was about to give up and turn away when his voice called her back.

“Wait. You...may I ask who you are?”

“Oh, you speak! I’m Kirara, what’s your name? And why...do you look so dark and gloomy? Is that how you normally dress?” The questions bubbled from Kirara before she could halt herself, it had been so long since she’d even gotten anything more than a curt nod from most dragons. Here, perhaps, was a friend to be made. As trusting as she was, she had no problem with bounding right up to him to peer closer at the dark attire he wore, hoping upon hope that this dragon would be willing to befriend her.

The imposing male before her paused, scratching at the earth somewhat awkwardly. Still, Kirara gave him time, it was hardly everyday that she encountered someone in these lands, much less someone who willingly asked for her name.

“Kai. That’s my name. This is going to sound...a bit selfish, but would you consider joining my clan?” When she gawked at him in open-mouthed shock, he hastened to add, “It’s just...you look like a traveler with nowhere else to go, and you obviously have a gift for magic. Our clan could use someone like you.”
A flush of heat reached her cheeks, before she knew it she was leaping up and down for joy: a clan, a family, a home, she would finally have one to settle down with! How long it had been since she’d enjoyed the warmth of fellowship, just the thought of being invited to join a clan was enough to please her immensely.

“You don’t need to ask twice, I’ll join! Thank you, thank you so much…!”
Ah, she couldn’t quite help it, the grateful tears spilling from her eyes while the somewhat bewildered Kai looked on. Finally, after all this time, she would have a clan, other dragons to call friends, a place where she was wanted. It was something Kirara had never expected to become true, yet here she was.
Her new clanmates were wary of the stranger the other Imperial had brought back, but over time they warmed up to her cheerful nature and talent for the elemental magic she wielded. Kirara never did find out why Kai had chosen to take her in, when asked, all he would give was a cryptic “You interest me.”
But what did it matter? So long as she was loved, warmed by the flames of friendship and a sense of home, Kirara would stay.

Even tho the 2 have stayed close friends Kirara has partnered with another. A decendant of angels ,who is more a demon, named Ben....

Poem writen by SilverSilver

You are blessed, o traveler.
You have seen the clear icefields,
Weathered the wind that sweeps the bones.
You have witnessed the earth shudder
And struggle against its skin.
You have known fire.
You have felt it singe against your teeth.
You are blessed. Traveler.
Daughter of an unnamed mother,
Gasping, you set your claws against
The pull of arcane currents.
You survived, o traveler;
Are you not blessed?
