Kairos
Fateful Chance Kairos came from humble beginnings. Although he grew up in relative poverty and rarely had much to give, he gave what he could, and he would sacrifice his own needs to help others who were less fortunate. With a heart of gold, Kairos believed that there is good in everyone, and while some may have called him naive for believing others always had the best intentions at heart, he always said the world could use a little more good, and he was determined to be that good if no one else would rise to the occasion. While most of those that he helped were good souls, from time to time the recipients of Kairos’s generosity would take advantage of his kindness, and one such betrayal of his good nature left him wounded and on the verge of death. But fortune was on his side, and he was found by Felicitas, a demigod living among mortals, an immortal dragon with a heart as kind as Kairos’s. Felicitas nursed him back to health and during their time together, Kairos found himself falling in love with her, recognizing her as a kindred spirit; the feelings were mutual, and after his recovery, Kairos and Felicitas decided to share their lives together. Despite his brush with death, Kairos never stopped giving to others. When asked later if he regretted the act of kindness that led to his near death, Kairos would smile and shake his head -- what most viewed as a near-tragedy, he viewed as a stroke of good luck for leading him to his beloved Felicitas.
