Biography
Vitali BeeBee DeltaDawn Deserrae Singewing
"Did you court me because I'm a guardian?" The question came soon after the four little ones got settled with the clan's caretakers, so the two dragons could return to their duties without worry for the safety of their young. After a week of caring for her in the nest and warming their eggs together, Hana couldn't fathom why she'd ask such a question. They were taken aback; trying to formulate a proper response for her.
"...Did my mother say something?"
"Yes."
Hana's mother, Singewing, was a tough love kind of dragon. It was shocking from how soft and caring her own mother had been. It was a loving speech her mother had given her that changed her life in the way that she may have said something to Adamantia without thinking of her feelings. To change one's own kind simply for personal joy made her angry, and that was why she herself never changed into a guardian. However, she was still jealous of them.
"My mother has...problems. Every dragon does, I mean, look at me- I wanted to be an imperial-"
"Hana."
"Right- thank you, not about me. No Ada...I didn't court you to make my mother happy. I courted you to make me happy. You're the most intelligent dragon I know, and you sure have wrung me through that mind of yours several times when I spoke so ignorantly. You've made me a better dragon. I love you because you cared enough to teach me, and I can't wait to teach our little ones the same way."
The blue at Adamantia's face darkened, the scales at her maw shifting into that soft, flustered smile she had. "I love you too, my littlest imperial."
