You're not sure how, but somehow you managed to find yourself in a less-than-pleasant area when all you were trying to do was get home. The atmosphere is eerie. No form of sound is heard, not even the sound of crickets chirping. You walk a few minutes more, then pause a moment, swearing that you hear something that is faint at first, but is slowly getting louder. It sounds as if somebody is humming a slow and ominous tune. You swivel around to see if you can locate the source of the humming, seeing nothing at first, until you notice movement nearby. You freeze in place, the figure getting closer until you can make out the outline of a ridgeback. The ridgeback stops humming, then says "Well, well, what have we here?" in a slow and deliberate tone, slowly stalking towards you. Before you know it, the ridgeback is directly in front of you. They stare directly into your eyes, and you feel a twinge of nerves. Something is very wrong here, but no matter how much you want to look away, you realize that you can't. You begin to feel lightheaded and your vision begins to blur before you eventually fall over. Your eyes begin to close, but before they do, the last thing you see is the ridgeback staring down at you and saying "Another one for the domain...Perfect..." -MilkshakeTrex (Write lore for the dragon above you) While many stories of the dragons in Hollowed's Tree revolve around joining Hollowed and being persuaded, Vice tells a different story. After leaving his original pack of ridgebacks for a few days to go searching for food in the arcane territories, he never came back. Instead, he was knocked out by Boreas by Hollowed's order. After all, they never had a ridgeback in the flight. Hollowed has heard about how dangerous ridgebacks can be in combat (especially males with their spines and horn). All he had to do now was take Vice back and break him into his new life. Vice's first few months were not pleasant. He was treated lowly like a prisoner. All in an attempt to break his spirit so he wouldn't bother trying to escape. Once he started to become more obedient, he was thrown into battle training. Hollowed's orders were simple. He must use all advantages and never hold back. If he does this, Vice will be punished. Whether this be going back to a lower status or harmed, it was never clear. But now Vice fears what might happen if he doesn't obey Hollowed. Every dragon stays clear of him either way, all except for Jett who understands his fear and tries to help comfort him.
