A spiral dragon known as Jett cries as she watches her dragonets taken away from her. She does not know where they will go, but she knows she will never see them again. All she can do is clutch onto her only remaining child. The one that was allowed to stay. Temper.

For all of his life, Temper has never spoken a word. The king never seemed to mind. After all, it means that the dragon can't argue against him. He's able to make up for it in combat at least. His main specialty is being able to read dragons. Mind reading has always seemed like a far-fetched term to him, as Temper prefers to call it "observation". He's skilled at reading body language and emotions. He can easily tell when someone is troubled, upset, or happy. Which manages to be useful when living in a place as horrible as Hollowed's Tree. And while his mother Jett tries her best to be sheltering of the young dragon, Temper knows the truth of his situation. Jett is one of the more lowly dragons alongside Vice. She already had her mate killed, meaning that Temper could be a future target if she steps out of line. And while she tried to keep this a secret, Temper was able to read the situation clearly. It's why he's determined to help out the Uprising in any way he can. His mother doesn't deserve to suffer like this, not after losing everything else in her life...
