Hatching from the outskirts of the Starfall Isles by the Observatory, Cage was raised by a good family. They were cared for, taught well, and kept in good tabs with their family and home Lair. They didn't travel much outside the Starfell Isles because of this. So when one day they saw a curious creature not part of the Starfell Isles, and not in any teachings or books they had, they followed it. The creature took them far from home until they were lost. Deciding not to follow it anymore, but keeping the look memorized they went to a nearby market. There they heard two boisterous dragons talking about traveling and exploring. The stories caught their ear, and they met Red and Hao. Both being the tellers of the story, Hao being a guide even if some Arcane dragons gave him side looks. Cage talked to them, and was invited into their Lair after saying that Cage could write down their tales; nobody would forget them.

When not handling the nest when Red is off exploring, Cage enjoys a good book or tale from the other dragons in their Lair. Each has their own story, so why not write it down! Cage does have a collection of their own writings around the Lair; both of their own stories of fiction and non, and the stories told by the other dragons of the Lair. If anyone ever asks about the stories written they immediately become embarrassed and flustered and try to hide any evidence of books being around them even when they're constantly everywhere. Cage knows dragons read their stories in secret but if they ever came up to anyone to ask if they had, the dragon guilty would disagree and say they didn't. Not out of harm but out of knowing that Cage is embarrassed about any critique on their writing. It doesn't hurt their feelings because they know that the dragons in the Lairs constantly read them.

Cage is very curious and will generally try anything once to see if they like the item or activity or not. They help keep the lair very tidy and clean, mainly for their collection of books to not be everywhere at once. When there's not a book around them, they do enjoy to check in on the familiars of the lair, seeing as there's more than the dragons that home them. So they don't mind giving a helping claw to the dragons taking care of the creatures. Cage's only partner is Red.
