My family is very precious to me. Please take good care of my kin and if they ever need to leave your clan, please send them back to their family. If they have any children of their own, I would love to see them, and they will always be welcome in my clan.  As their claws dig gently into the ground and work their nature magic into the seeds underneath, to add that little bit of help with growing, Fern wonders how habitable the three of them, together, can make this dying out land. Fern does not waver most of the time, as they know for a fact this is what they left their home lair for, and what they felt called to do when they discovered this surprisingly barren place (at least by Viridian Labyrinth's standards). They still are just another dragon, though, so it is only natural to be a bit swayed by anxieties sometimes. Fern knows, however, that ever since Eyre came here before them, and then both Fern and Clover discovered this territory and wanted to do their part as well, the place has already gotten much greener and livelier than it used to be. Eyre's powerful Spring Dragon magic revitalized the river and lake, as well as the underground waters, waking up and nourishing the previously desolate land. Fern, while not as gifted as their bogsneak companion, has some inherited magic in them as well, being able to imbue everything around them with a little nurturing nature energy, which has been helping the plant life begin to flourish and bloom. They know Clover has no magical abilities to aid the other two, but she makes up for it by taking care of things in her own way - by putting to use her great physical strength that comes with being an obelisk, helping out with the more mundane tasks, and keeping an eye out for any threats and dangers. Fern looks up from where they've been doing their magic over the seeds Clover sown. As the flora around them has gotten so green and strong in the recent time, the obelisk started noticing animal and insect life coming back as well. The ground underneath their claws has gotten a nicer, softer and less dry in texture, now - the soil becoming more and more fertile as the dragons continue to nourish and nurture it. The air feels much more refreshing and invirogating now, too. By all means, this is already so, so much better than what this place was like at the start. There's no need to worry, then - they think to themself - the effort and the heart the three of them been pouring into this endeavor clearly visible in the progress all around them. A long road ahead of them with much still to be done, it is nonetheless important to appreciate and acknowledge the results of their hard work that they've already been reaping. And so, appreciate and acknowledge Fern does.
