Biography
▬▬ INARETH, Poet ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ♢♢♢ The Auraetum | Clan Lore
Now, spring returns: but not to me returns
The vernal joy my better years have known; Dim in my breast life’s dying taper burns, And all the joys of life with health are flown. Inareth is an ill dragon, one rarely seen outside of his small home. And yet he writes of beauty and love, of nature. |

Inareth had always been a weak hatchling, and he never truly escaped this. A sudden illness overtook him in his youth, and he’s been worse off since. Some days bedridden, other days lingering near death: this has always been Ina’s world. That is, until he moved to the Auraetum. What was a terrible point in Inareth’s life, where his clan sent him away, was also a turning point. While Inareth had chosen the Auraetum for its connection to the healing springs, he did not know that the Auraetum was where he would meet Kaibek Castilleja. Kaibek was the most trusted doctor in the city, and was the only dragon Inareth could turn to for help. Kaibek was a friendly doctor, and yet he had an air of mystery about him. The two dragons spent quite a lot of time together, mostly due to Inareth’s condition, and they became great friends. However, Inareath soon realized that he wished for more than friendship. The near-blind doctor’s interesting mannerisms had caught Ina’s eyes, or more accurately, his pen. Although his life still remained largely contained indoors, Ina was finally able to write poems about beauty for the first time in years. He saw Kaibek as his muse, and he would often show the doctor his poems. Kaibek would discuss poetry happily with the poet, unaware that the poems were a love letter to him. |
♢ Kaibek | Friend/Doctor Inareth's doctor who visits him frequently to check on him. Inareth has developed a bit of a crush on him. |

Quote:
I look at you looking at the world
A milky mist thrown over it
You shut your eyes, facing the sun
It is more sensation than fractals of light
How the breeze is a young fawn
one you cannot see and cannot outrun
From my place behind the glass
I cannot feel the sun
But it is pink and yellow,
dancing on your skin
I look at you look at me
and wonder what shape
I have taken in your mist
If it was possible,
my eyes would be yours
So you can taste the wind
and see her stir up the leaves
as she gallops
- birdiee
