B I O G R A P H Y

PumpkinSpice is a dragon of simple origins. At least that is what he tells those around him. Born to a single witch mother he was brought up by the birds in the trees. I mean, what else was a young dragon supposed to do with unlimited freedom? You can tell when Kin gets frustrated because he will switch between bird dialects. The forest creatures, including the plants, all have a language. Kin can speak them all, but you ask him to talk to other dragons and it is impossible for him to string something coherent most of the time.

Kin joined the Clan of Forgotten Wanders by accident. Well. More like Kin got caught in one of Kanda’s traps and imprinted like a newborn duck on his mate, Kokoleka. Only Kin can call her Koko though, he will not hesitate to cause a mild case of gangrene if anyone disrespects Koko. Most of the time she is trying to keep him reigned in, thankfully her sister Ohelopapa is always around to help keep an eye on Kin. Ohe is the second favorite person next to Koko to Kin.

You would think that this little ragtag crew would pack their things and start their own clan but Aven has a way of keeping her little family together. Whether it is magic that rivals Kin’s or just the fact that everyone accepts his eccentric ways, Kin has found his home. Most days you will find him resting with the familiars, tending to their needs. Sometimes working out disputes with the animals in the forest if someone steps on their house. Of course you may even see him focus enough to aid Xian and Regent when someone gets hurt lending his magic. Ohe is really the one you will see him with if Koko isn’t around, something about that soft herbalist can get him to calm down enough and make remedies for the clan and allies

- Esmarelda is one of his only friends outside of his clan, the woman is a saint putting up with him.
- He does frazzle her, especially when he feels like pulling a prank
- PumpkinSpice does live in the walls, he has tunnels that he follows made by the squirrels. He would know, they told him
- Kokoleka is his mate and the only structure in his life, which he is okay with. Only Koko can tell him what to do.
- Ohelopapa is his sister through mate, but you would think these two were siblings since birth. Ohelopapa, the very tired older sister, and PumpkinSpice the annoying little brother who is always in trouble. You bet she bails him out, so Koko never knows… not before she gets a few shots in first.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients:
2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, or more to taste, see our homemade pumpkin puree recipe
1 to 3 tablespoons sugar, depending on how sweet you like it
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for serving
1/2 cup strong hot coffee
Whipped cream, for serving

Prep:
-Add milk, pumpkin puree, and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until hot, but do not boil. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and the coffee.
-Divide the mixture between two mugs. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
