hello !! I am admittedly not a writer, nor someone who knows much about official flight rising lore/cultures, but I am a fool who sucks at the coliseum and likes pretty-looking creatures, so why not give it a shot :-) totally okay if I don't end up getting em !

Glydia prides herself on many things.
Some may say she's conceded, or arrogant, but she'd much rather tell you she knows what she's worth. She's lived a grand life; fought endless battles, won many a treasure, and never allowed herself to settle for more than a moment. A fiery, blazing heart guides her, albeit a bit recklessly, anywhere she so wishes, and that's just how she likes it. She's free, she's powerful, and that's all she'll ever need -- anything else would slow her down. It's simple.

The thing about the heart, however, is that it is needy.

It yearns for something, deeply and mournfully, instinctually. Her path begins to stray. Her fight begins to waver, her fire begins to snuff -- It's confusing and aggravating, and she despises it. Never has she needed anyone, not really. Any ties that linger from her past are long frayed, bridges long burnt. She's done perfectly fine for herself for quite some time, so why now? Glydia is merciless, and fierce, and --

Maybe, just maybe, a bit lonely.

When she finds them, it's a bit pathetic. They're feeble, and weak, and ridiculously naive, and don't have so much as a fight well won to their name. They're entirely alien to her, something not unlike a lowly bug she could squash just like anything else. There's no reason for her to stay, she tells herself. It'd be beneath her.

Alas, the heart is weak, and maybe she is too.
Maybe that's not all so bad.
