Kastra just showed up the one day, demanding that he be allowed into the Clan. He was apparently bored with his previous Clan and wanted a change of pace. He enjoys making machines and coming up with ideas on how to make things better.

That said, he does occasionally get visions of the future, courtesy of his element and much to his chagrin. Worst part is that he doesn't know whether to tell to try to avoid any bad possible futures, or if by doing so would allow those futures to pass. So far he's kept them to himself and nothing's come of his visions. Unless anything changes, he figures that may be best-although it doesn't stop him from waking up in a sweat and worrying about it every once in a while.

He does write them down however; otherwise he'd constantly be thinking about them. Kastra is serious to a fault and doesn't care much for pranks. Anyone that does so can expect a terrifyingly stern lecture on why it is dangerous to do so, with all the gory details of what could happen fully explained. Kastra in general is blunt and typically doesn't spare one's feelings, particularly if they pull pranks or do something dangerous.

Oddly enough, he never did get a vision showing him of an explosion from one of his machines. That resulted in a scar over his eye and while he didn't completely lose his vision in that eye, it was greatly reduced. There is still occasional pain from it. Luckily Spira was around to help heal what she could so that he didn't completely lose that eye.

Despite refusing to wear any sort of eye protection, he has gotten much more careful about what he does when he works.

He's a strong fighter and enjoys getting into scraps with the wildlife or Beastclans. He also likes to collect materials for his machines and can be seen giving orders to whichever party is going out so they can gather items for whatever it is he's working on at the time.

Kastra would eventually like to be seen as a Clan Elder, but he is content with the current leadership. He doesn't want to replace any of the Main 3, but would rather add to it with him being a leader of those that want to be engineers or anything related to that field. However, he is the leader of the Mechanic subdivision. He is also the mate of Spira. While he is grateful for her helping him, he fell for her based on her personality.

At Spira's insistence, Kastra donned a costume meant to represent the Earth Flight. However, he finds that it compliments him quite well and refuses to get rid of it.
