Mikos takes after his father in that he is blunt; however, he is more willing to take other's emotions into account. That said, he doesn't like to deal with overly emotional dragons or Beastclan members.

Much to his father's delight, he also works in the Mechanics Subdivision. While he is skilled with engineering, his calling is studying chemicals, particularly those that can be used to help treat illnesses-whether it is physical or mental.

He's quite wary of experimenting on others, so whenever he gets sick (and it's often because he deliberately tries), he'll go through a bunch of medicines that he created and see the side effects. On occasion, he'll also ask others that have gotten sick if they too would like to try out one of his medicines. He doesn't discriminate-Mikos finds it important to study and try such things for both dragons and Beastclan members.

However, he is careful to ask Beastclan members if they wish to try and will compare notes with their healers. Mikos' work has attracted the attention of Spica, Pavlina and Hex. He also compares notes with them as well and will often visit Spica and Pavlina to see their findings for himself. He also speaks the Beastclan languages quite well and only uses the most polite ways of speaking when talking to them.

Hex is particularly interested in his work with medicines for mental illness, as she is interested in coming up with mental exercises to aid in one's healing, but thinks that certain illness may need both medicine and therapy, or just one or the other. Due to shared interests, they became mates.

Mikos took a experimental medication and it had the side effect of turning his wings blue. He noted this and took to trying a different concoction to avoid that side effect. Eventually, he found a a way to fix that, but ended up gaining a different blue complexion for his trouble.

Nursejoy will swing by on occasion to see how Mikos is coming along and will tell him of what he's come across in his travels with other Clans to help spread knowledge of what works and what hasn't.
