Elsie stayed behind while her twin brother went to work for their Clan's deity. She tends to take after her father in that she likes to work on machinery and (much to Spira's dismay) has her father's lackadaisical view towards safety. She's incredibly lucky as she hasn't had any serious incidents yet. Spira hopes she never does and worries about her daughter's well being. Kastra isn't bothered; in fact he's pleased that his daughter has the same passion as him! Elsie is typically laid back and isn't easily fazed by most things. However, she can be accidentally offensive to some as she is blunt. While a competent fighter, she prefers to spend most of her time working on machinery. She has a dream that one day, flightless or injured dragons could get by on their own power instead of having to rely on others with 'wings of steel' as she puts it. Grant it, she's still trying to figure out how dragons of all sizes can fit into a steel body and be able to control where their 'wings' take them. While she hasn't said out loud what she'd call it, mentally she has it noted that it'll be called an airplane. Elsie gets along well with Inya. The two can be seen frequently talking about current and future projects, oftentimes with incredible excitement. While she does find male dragons attractive; she considers her mate to be Inya. An accident happened recently involving Anahira's alchemy potion exploding onto Elsie. While nothing more than a slight sting was felt, parts of Elsie's wings, head, neck, feet and claws were covered. Those areas are mostly numb due to this. However, those areas are more resistant to damage as well, so it has been a mixed blessing. Elsie is still somewhat irate with Anahira over it, but Anahira's been trying to make up for it in the way of gifts, apologies every time they meet and many other things. She figures that she'll forgive Anahira fairly soon, as it was an accident and Anahira is truly remorseful for it. Plus, Elsie's not the type to hold a grudge-once she's done being angry with someone over something, that's it. Elsie also has an adopted daughter that resulted from a weird magic incident. Originally her daughter was a glass dragon figurine but that changed by a wayward bolt of Arcane magic. Elsie is more easygoing and fun than Inya in regards to Elektra, but knows Inya loves her just as much as she does.
