For any dragon visiting Cairnstone Rest, their expectations would likely be of a dangerous network of tombs and corridors, swarming only with the dead, and those foolish or foolhardy enough to live alongside them. They would likely not expect hidden treasure deep within it's hallowed halls, certainly not one unclaimed by the dead.

A treasure of coin or arms or gemstone.

And yet within these halls lies a treasure rich purely in natural beauty.

The cavern that holds it like the inside of a split geode, encrusted floor to ceiling with fine crystaline structures, their inner glow illuminating the clear water of an ethereal underground lake. Beneath the water, springs send ripples cascading across the surface, letting the inner glow of the crystals dance across their reflection in a myriad of patterns.

Few outside of the Nameless have seen this treasure; even amongst their number, only those most in need of it's thirst quenching waters.

This cavern is the home of it's guardian, Mere. A Spring Water dragon by nature, she spends most of her time within the waters of her lake. Tending to her crystals and ensuring the water does not become polluted by any unwanted intruders.

First meeting the Nameless when an expansion to their main lair broke into her cavern, Mere was initially highly suspicious of the clan. A Spring Water dragons natural caution of outsiders coming to the fore. Through her talks with Skim, who was the dragon in charge at the time, Mere and the clan came to an uneasy agreement to coincide with each other. The Nameless promising to leave Mere's cavern to her care despite the treasures hidden within, and Mere promising not to reveal her knowledge of the main lairs location to any other outsiders that might require her waters.

Eventually after many years of coexistance, and many a misshap with unruly sets of hatchlings intent on swimming in the cool waters of her spring, Mere grew to trust the Nameless; the clan having proven true to their word not to touch her precious home, hatchlings aside.

Mere realised the true extent of her trust when after one such hatchling misshap, she ended up insisting the long suffering Skim sit with her in the waters and relax, rather than letting her leave immidiately with the recalitrant hatchlings who would surely try to return as soon as their guardian's back was turned.

This friendship was the catalyst for Mere becoming an official member of the Nameless.

Spending much of her time within her caverns at the main lair, she also helps Skim to take care of the hatchlings. The two of them having a close partnership. They can often be seen taking what spare time they have relaxing together underneith the calming glow of crystal lights.
