Aesir was born in the Dusk Sanctum to two high ranking scholars, and was expected to follow in their footsteps. However, they soon found out that she had no interest in her studies, and changed academies to study combat instead. Even then, she would get easily distracted, often landing herself in punishments or detentions.

It was during one of such punishments that she met Andromeda, while serving as a sentry along Driftwood Drag. She eventually warmed up to the midnight blue Imperial, and, once they’d graduated, moved to the Sea of a Thousand Currents to be with him.

Aesir used to be extremely energetic and impatient, but they have mellowed out after spending much time with Andromeda. Nowadays, she spends her time overseeing the investigation and rescue carried out by the Meneagerie, and doting on their many residents, both dragon and familiar.

• She has a great interest in unusual objects and creatures, particularly in alternate-colour familiars.

• She spends most of her time at Churnscar Wharf, listening to the stories of travellers from all over Sornieth.

• She was the one who discovered and subsequently adopted Astra, finding the menagerie in the process.
