the gentle peal of chimes, the soft burble of shimmering waters… noelle must be near. blind though she may be, an ensorcelled undine companion acts the part of her eyes, describing to her any sights of relevance. her greatest talents lie in channeling, speaking to (and for) the spirits of the aurealon vale and beyond. noelle has been exceptionally deft at communication with any manner of spirit for as long as she can remember. born in the desolate expanse of reclaimer’s glacier, she was swept away from her parents by a devastating blizzard as a mere hatchling. desperately cold, starved, lost, and alone in the southern icefield, it was the very same undine she carries today that lead her to wisp. wisp, who had been out on an expedition in search of herbs, took one look at the frail hatching trembling before her and brought her back to the vale with haste. under the apothecary’s watchful eye she recovered quickly, and sprang before much time had passed at all from haggard hatchling to sprightly young adult. by the grace of her foster mother’s tutelage, her skills in the arcane continued to grow leaps and bounds by the day. though well old enough to hold her own, noelle remains rather shy, and can often be found squirreled away in her mother’s section of the tower all the same. when called upon for her services, her work is ruthlessly elegant and efficient (if not only so she can return to her own devices faster!). outside of work she finds her greatest joys in listening to music, daydreaming, and reading fairy tales. |
