As Mono first hatched into the world, a quick feature was noted with the young dragon. Her wings were defected, and she could not fly. She spent the years of her life bound to the earth, envious of those who soared in the sky.
Leaving her initial home, she found Stow-on-side, more specifically, Kae. Kae welcomed her into their clan and introduced her to many dragons. Many were abandoned at birth, lost due to wars and battles, missing family, etc. But Mono found the beauty that they were all happy with each other. It seemed like such a loving community. There, she met Six, who was a Fae with a missing eye. Six let her perch on his back and showed her the night sky above the clouds. She knew she found home, and soon found herself with four little hatchlings. Missing her birthing home, she sent her youngst of her first clutch, Inkwell, to live with her birth family.
