Truly embodying the spirit of Helheim Hall, Shande is a dragon who absolutely revels in creating problems. His name means embarrassment, and he picked it out himself. He only wears trousers and shoes just to make it perfectly clear that not wearing a shirt is understood to be an intentional choice. His professors say that a solid third of his body weight is probably knives that he just has on him. Despite all of these things, Shande also manages to be a likeable, friendly dragon who has friends all around Home.

- Biography
Born in the Southern Icefield, Shande was abandoned at a very young age and wound up at Home when he was still a hatchling. He began to display extreme magical talent from a very young age. Even though Ice magic is notoriously dangerous and unstable, and most young Ice dragons are only advised to learn how to control their magic and no more, Shande was recommended for advanced magical study even when he was a hatchling. It's commonly thought that he would have been certain to be accepted into Jǫtunheimr Hall, Home's most selective Hall, if only he applied himself a bit more. As it is, though, he knows he fits in best in Helheim.

- Life at Home
An intelligent and sharp, if irreverent and easily bored, young dragon, Shande has always excelled in his studies despite his inability to sit still and his unwillingness to study. He has dreams of becoming a cursebreaker when he's older, and only ever really truly applies himself in classes in which he learns about Shade creatures and methods to protect himself from dark magic. He's not the best role model around, but Shande nonetheless often appoints himself as a friend to new arrivals at Home, and always goes out of his way to talk to dragons that don't seem to have many friends. It's easy to get annoyed with him sometimes, but Shande really has a good heart, and he's an easy dragon to like.

- Relationships
Usually a pleasant dragon to be around, Shande has a sense of humour that just won't quit. His strategy is definitely quantity over quality, and he seems to think that just rattling off the most jokes he can will make the bad ones more forgettable. He can easily come across as crass or juvenile, but it's hard to deny that he's really good at relieving the tension, and that makes him an excellent dragon to have around when things get heavy. Shande is on friendly terms with just about everyone, but his best friend has always been the more serious, reserved Bruno, whose quieter personality helps make Shande a bit more palatable.

- Personality
A creative and enthusiastic dragon, Shande has a healthy sense of adventure and curiosity, and despite what his hatred for structured classes and homework would have you believe, he's a smart dragon who enjoys learning. He pushes his professors to the limits with finding new strategies to get him invested, but when he applies himself, Shande learns quickly and learns well. Ever since his professors discovered his talent for forging knives and other weapons as a hobby, it's a lot easier to tire him out. He's an excellent magician, and quickly made a name for himself around Helheim Hall as a dragon who is always happy to help out in whatever way he can. He's fiercely loyal, and everyone knows he would probably walk through fire for them if they just asked. Shande can be an acquired taste, but he's the type of dragon who just won't stop until he makes you smile, and every Clan needs at least one.
