King of the defiant angels, Tartarus rules of the realms of those fallen from grace. He is not easily impressed and often described as stoic. With his quiet and brooding nature many are uncertain just of how to take him, and he finds much effort in making simple conversation with others. Tartarus is also hardheaded and hard to persuade once his mind has been made up. Defiant when challenged; for if defiance was a virtue than obedience is now a sin. His mother, Ausra is a deity of defiance, her existence and those of her siblings should not be but the flawed scrolls existence forever echoes in their very incarnation. This sullen abyss gives little light to those that wander but is has a brilliant glow within the confines of the raging soul. "Chaos beckons and I must heed her call, Chaos does not wait". Tartarus lowers his powerful, glistening neck to gaze at the dark, rippling waters of the river, Styx. The waters never cast a reflection but mirrors the truth of the beholder. Many has past through here but few will remain. Tartarus' judgement is absolute and those wicked few will find their fates dangling before this Titan. His gaze widens to beyond the borders of the river, to the Veil. He knows more are on their way, but he is uncertain of how long till their arrival, when they will come shaken and disoriented. The Underworld is fair, most will find, if they dare to look deep within. "Your company, stills the raging in my depths of my soul." Tartarus quietly utters out into the darkness. "Then gaze fondly upon my face, and feel the calm of the stars" Asteria beckons as a voice inside of his head. Hers was a voice that he welcomed while sitting next to ghostly river that flowed with eerie silence. Tartarus ascended to the Earth in half a breath and looked up upon the heavens. The stars shown especially bright with a cascade of falling stars just over the moonlit hills. He wasn't sure if it was because he dwelled so long in the abyss of the Underworld but he knew she was near as the falling stars always proceeded her arrival. "Ausra would be proud. In many ways you are Ausra's brightest star.", The same voice soothed but this time he could make out her silhouette against the night sky. He knew his mate has come to join him under the brilliant moon and bring him solace. |

Tartarus is a G2 Ausra, a glitched scroll lineage dragon. There were three hatchling from the dragon Firuxe; who had a faulty imperial scroll applied to him. Firuxe was changed back to a wildclaw but his hatchling remained imperial dragons. Tartarus is the 16th hatchling to Ausra and from the last clutch to be publicly sold. Acquired from act on Sept 10th, 2021. Tartarus' official mate is Asteria and their first clutch will hatch Oct 31st, when the veil is the thinnest. |
